After-School Program
Green Hedges School offers structured after-school care to accommodate the varied schedules of our families. Our program provides opportunities for students to engage in intellectual offerings such as chess, creative options such as movie making, and energetic activities such as floor hockey. Students may also choose to simply complete homework during the supervised study hall.
The after-school program runs on a daily basis beginning at 3:30 p.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. Parents may enroll their child for the entire year or they may customize their child’s schedule. While activities such as study hall are available as a year-long option, the after-school activities change each trimester thus allowing the children to participate in a range of offerings. Regardless of your child’s selection, our goal is to provide experiences that support student learning, engage student interest, and develop physical abilities. This is accomplished in an environment that encourages participation and emphasizes creative fun.
