Green Hedges Fund

The video above shows that the costs to adapt to changes in the face of COVID in 2020 and 2021 are real, but the costs to keep our community safe are worth it. Your gift to the Green Hedges Fund will not only help offset COVID-related expenses this year, but will also go towards supporting everything else that makes this school’s size its greatest asset.

Green Hedges Parent Fund

Our parent community has a strong tradition of supporting the Annual Fund. Last year, parent participation reached 82 percent!

Please help us reach our 2021 – 2022 goal of 100% parent participation. Pledges may be paid at the time they are made or anytime during the year prior to June 30, 2022.

Green Hedges Alumni Fund

Alumni support is a vital part of the Annual Fund campaign. Gifts from alumni help us continue to provide an excellent education for current students and make what could be ordinary, extraordinary. Please support Green Hedges students and prove there is power in numbers by making a gift to the Green Hedges Fund.

Family of Funds

You may choose to designate your gift to a particular area of the School’s operations which is most meaningful to you. As always, you may choose to make an unrestricted gift to be used wherever the need is greatest. The School requests that gifts be given to support facilities as unrestricted gifts. This provides the School more flexibility in obtaining financing, if necessary, to allow the School to begin construction prior to the completion of a multi-year pledge commitment.

Matching Gift Programs

Many organizations offer matching gift programs that support K-12 schools. Please check with your employer to see if they will match your gift. This is a great way to leverage the impact of your support by doubling or even tripling your contribution! If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed to the Development Office. We will do the rest. Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses too. Green Hedges School is also an accepted “write-in” agency for the United Way of the National Capital Area.

The small size and the nurturing environment are what struck me. And my children are so prepared--Green Hedges is always giving them opportunities to shine. When you give to the Green Hedges Fund, you see the results immediately. And you're also investing in the future of the school. For us it's a no-brainer--we're going to give
