Green Hedges educates children ages 2 through Grade 8, providing a robust, comprehensive curriculum enriched with outstanding experiences in world languages, the arts, leadership, and character development.

Strategic Plan 2026 - 2031

Dear Green Hedges Community,

We are excited to unveil our 2026–2031 Strategic Plan. This strategic plan gives shape and structure to the ambitious aims of a generation of Green Hedges’ trustees, alumni, parents, students, and faculty. Over the past year the Strategic Planning Committee worked tirelessly to arrive at this final version.

We identified four goals to serve as the essence of the strategic plan. These goals—Inspiring Wonder, Exploration, and Collaboration, Strengthening a Culture of Care and Belonging, Designing Spaces for Discovery and Connection, and Cultivating a Future of Strength and Possibility—are central to how our school will continue to flourish.

Green Hedges is strengthened by its rich history, proximity to the nation’s capital, and dedicated community. This strategic plan builds on these foundations to shape an inspiring future where students become curious scholars, confident leaders, compassionate community members, and thoughtful global citizens.
